Part 2/2. So welcome back to the second article on this topic of driver transfers 2021/22 and in this article we’re going to asses the remaining teams that we didn’t cover yesterday in part 1! So let’s get started shall we.... AlphaTauri  So AlphaTauri the RedBull junior team, okay yes they don’t like to call themselves a sister team but let’s be honest they are because most of the car is old RedBull parts from seasons of before and they’re driver lineups are tend to be drivers who’re either up and coming or not good enough necessarily to be with RedBull but a good stop gap filler. Now looking at the current lineup of Gasly and Tsunoda actually it’s pretty solid for the team. I think if AlphaTauri can or could they may want to keep both however to keep both will depend what happens elsewhere. I think Gasly will push to leave the team and may succeed and I think he’ll need to for progression of his own career. I think this will therefore see Alex Albon take his seat back on the grid...

So big question driver swaps? We all thought the 2020 driver market was and in all fairness it was kinda crazy but could 2021/2022 driver market be even more crazy? Who will go where and why?  So at the end of 2021 many drivers will be out of contract. Whilst we know some lineups are confirmed such as Ferrari, McLaren and Aston Martin but other than that the is still many questions marks over who’ll fill the remaining 14 seats! Okay tell a lie it’s less than only 11 remaining seats in theory as Verstappen, Alonso and Mazepin all have contracts going beyond end of the season as well like Lelcerc, Sainz, Norris, Ricciardo, Vettel and Stroll but other than those 9 drivers the other 11 all are left seatless going into the driver market. So who will go where well hopefully today can make our seat predictions and let’s see how many we get right.  Haas. Haas well what we know? Okay let’s get this issue out the way! Monaco not fit for purpose, oh it boring and yes I’ll admit the modern day Monaco GrandPrix may no longer be as good as what it use to be back in the early 1990s, 80s or 70s but that Monaco 🇲🇨.  Monaco never been a circuit known for overtaking it is a spectacle for glamorous streets and famous corners as the track weaves alongside the costal roads and up the hill through the casino square. That is what Monaco is and the is no debating it. If you where expecting 100 overtakes by all the drivers then forget it because that’s never going to happen regardless of how wide or skinny these cars will be.  But I’m  not here to shout about necessarily Monaco’s purpose but more to say why I found Monaco 2021 a really good and cool race weekend. Niki, good old Niki! It’s already been two years since his passing it’s mad that the first time we come back to Monaco is two years past Lauda death.  Niki is a legend of F1, I talked in my last blog about F1 not having GOATS but a hall of fame and this is true but I think the is also a very good argument Lauda could be the best of all time!  What NIki achieved in F1 career when you look at it is simply unimaginable. He’s technically the only para athlete  F1 driver to ever win a championship! And not just one but two.  After his horrendous crash at the Nurburgring in 1976 I believe it would of simply been amazing if he’d of ever got back into a F1 car to complete maybe one parade lap like what Romain Grosjean is going to get the opportunity in a months time at the FrenchGP let alone to still compete at the top of his game. In this short blog today I’m going to put forward my argument why debating the GOAT of F1 is pointless! For sure the are great drivers some better than others and have achieved and immortalised the name into the F1 record books but that’s about it realistically claiming someone is the GOAT is a pathetic and childish debate that continues to exist.  Firstly let’s get things straight F1 as much as it is a individual sport it’s also a team sport and for the teams the big bucks don’t come from winning the Drivers championship but from winning the Constructors. Teams don’t care who wins the Drivers anymore and it’s been this way since 1958! Of course teams want the best in class but the is a reason why the is a number 1 and number 2 driver in F1. That reason is because ultimately teams don’t want to have infighting ultimately inter rivalries are more likely to hurt the team long run but be positive and strong short term. Why I want Mercedes to fail more badly now than ever! Look 👀 I support all 20 drivers, all 10 teams with the exception of Nikitia Mazespin of course! But jokes aside I’m writing this piece today explaining why I want Mercedes and Hamilton to fail more badly now than ever before.... Now I don’t wish any ill fate to Hamilton and to any of the 20 drivers that get into one of these machines as let’s not forget the dangers of motorsport still linger more than ever before. Grosjean crash at the 2020 Bahrain GrandPrix was a stark reminder of that and the dangers these gentlemen face in order to win at the pinnacle of motorsports! And whilst I want to see a great titanic championship battle but I sincerely hope Mercedes for once crack under the pressure and that RedBull can win the 2021 not just constructors but driver’s championships.  Why?
